Kerry Jones Engineering (KJE) is a family-run machining and fabrication business based in Waiuku, Auckland. The company was founded in 1987 and continues to grow after 36 years. Our office is located at 14 Martyn Street.
We value strong customer relationships and are proud to have the support of a number of loyal clients, many of whom have been with us since the early years.
Kerry started the business in 1987 equipped with a welder, and the idea that he could service the engineering needs of the local area. The Kerry Jones Engineering team soon expanded with the work demands, and the addition of a CNC machine workshop.
Over the past 36 years, our team and workshop site have grown significantly, allowing us to offer comprehensive engineering solutions under one roof.
The business is now in its second generation of operation, managed by Kerry’s son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Alex.
The pair are supported by an eight-strong team of experienced tradespeople.
KJE is actively involved in supporting staff members to achieve their industry qualifications. We have a proven apprenticeship model that assists our apprentices in achieving their learning outcomes to become trade qualified.
The team also upskills through welding tickets, internal training, and first aid to ensure our clients experience the highest standards of quality and service.
